"Had an amazing experience exploring the Dambulla Caves whilst being taught the history and cultural background of each cave by our tour guide Jatu. Even when we were driving along the path to reach both the Dabulla Caves and the Sigiria rock site, Jatu provided mini stops at the well preserved historical sites and shared some stories about them too which was awesome. I also want to mention the trekking guide that was with us as we climbed up the Sigiria rock was a champion, he’s been doing this for 15 years and still manages to complete the climb, share some historical context against the Sigiria sites and share some laughs at the same time. Truly an experience I’d encourage others to attempt!"
